Observations

For being two countries with so much in common there are some distinct differences. For one thing Australians are so laid back it is hard to believe that they can even stand up straight. For another there is not a turkey to be found in the entire country. It is Thanksgiving weekend and the Canadians have to have Thanksgiving parties in hiding because there is no thanksgiving here and no turkeys. Like everything else turkeys have to be imported into the country.

The upside to Australia is that it is the middle of Oct and today it was 32C andn tomorrow is to be 37C. And the best part is that in January it's still going to be 30C that is + 30C not 30 below. So I guess I can get use to not having turkey if it means that I have great weather and an amazing tan in January. Having the option to spend a long weekend in Fiji isn't bad either.
