The Joys of Long Weekends

This weekend is the Queen's Birthday. As such it is a long weekend. Thursday morning the price of fuel jumped.  I couldn't believe it when I walked past the gas station so yesterday I took my camera and took a picture of the billboard as proof.  I'm glad that we don't have to heat homes in the winter time here. 

Yes you are reading those prices correctly and for the most part the Aussie and Canadian dollar are at par.  The first price is for unleaded and the bottom price is diesel.  Like Canada fuel is measured in litres.
