Two Days

So far so good. This is the second day of sunshine. While the pond has yet to recede it is still within its banks. I went for a walk this morning by the canal near campus. The boardwalk still has sections covered with water but it's right along the water for the most part it's fine. I even saw the maintence guys out this morning cleaning off the debris.

I saw my neighbours (the ducks) this morning it's the first I've seen them since I got here. They are staying off the pond which makes me think that the shark is back and that it wasn't just a story to keep us out.

Thank goodness for laptop's. I was able to take it out by the pool and work on my tan while getting ready for seminars. So after a questionable coupld of days it is official the tan is coming back. Yeah, I know you feel really sorry for me. It's the end of January and I'm complaining about my tan.
