Setting a Good Example

Teachers are one of those groups which the general population uses as a marker to set a good example. Well, here is my 'good example'

Today I had my first administration law class. As the professor was going through the course outline he got to the part about the textbooks and held them up to show the class which ones we were to get. They BOTH were still in the plastic shrinkwrap. So much for us 'embracing our inner geeks'. That was a favourite saying of his last semester. Why should we 'embrace our inner geeks' when he hasn't yet? Had he, the books would have been doggeared and not still in the shrinkwrap.

So much for setting a good example.
