Silly Aussies

For my birthday a friend and I went out for breakfast. I made pancakes and bacon. Nothing wrong with that, or so you would think. Just as our food arrived, the woman's daughter saw us and came over. She and her friend ended up joining us with the sole intention of watching me eat pancakes and bacon. Her mother yelled at her that they couldn't watch me eat my breakfast. They either had to order something or leave. They chose to leave. Later on the daughter, her friend and I had a conversation about the weird foods people eat.

I thought it may have just been her who thought it was weird so I asked another Aussie. As soon as he heard what I had ate he immediately made the same face the girl had made. So I guess it wasn't just here. It's just those silly Aussies in general who think pancakes and bacon are weird.

Oh well, the pancakes were good and I had a good birthday so that's all that matters. Who cares if people think I eat weird food. I think vegemite sandwiches are gross too.
