Footnotes to yesterday's post

I realised late last night and thought I'd better clarify. The fires are NO WHERE near me. I'm safe and there is nothing to be concerned about me for. The floods in Queensland are about 2000kms to the north from me and the fires about again about that far southwest of where I am.

One of the townships that has been wiped off the map has been declared a crime scene. Which means that the authorities have determined that the fire responsible for the destruction of that area was purposely set. I just pray that they catch the person responsible for the fire.

Some of the international media is reporting that the fires are a result of climate change. The fires have been set.
