Sydney ... Part 2
Since I have been getting complaints about how little I included in my last post I am writing again to shut the critics up. Yeah I know I shouldn't listen to the critics but I'm tired of the complaining.
So here we go again. Sydney is an amazing city. Not only is it a mixture of old and new world but you can also see the Mediterranean influences along with the European; being as they started as a British penal colony. The Australian working navy is also located in Sydney and while I didn't see the ships moving in and around the harbour there were sailors out and about.
As I was there on the weekend there were a tonne of cool little markets all over town. Every little neighbourhood has its own market unique to the characteristics of the area.
The beaches were beaches, lots of sand and surf. As one beach is on the ocean the water was still a little cold. It was only about 12C well it may have been 15 but it was still really cold. Then again it is spring and the water hasn't had much time to warm up yet.
As I have now dedicated two posts to my trip to Sydney there will be no more, and to the critics if you don't like it you know where to go and how to get there.
