Keeping an eye on Women

Tonight a bunch of us from my criminal law seminar meet for a couple of drinks to celebrate the end of the semester. And to relax so we are better prepared for exam prep. When the majority of the people got ready to leave the seminar leader said that he was going to stick around until I had finished my drink. He didn't want me to be alone in the bar, when I (and everyone else) had been consuming alcohol. He has a wife and two daughters as well as being a criminal lawyer he knows better then most people what can happen to a single woman at a bar. And our discussion problem this week was a gang rape which happened as a woman was leaving a bar by herself. They had been watching her at the bar to make sure she was alone. While the scenario we discussed today was made up things like that do happen.

Like I said earlier, it's an entirely different group of people here then back there. I'm used to guys like this being the exception not the rule.
