Cricket Season

How odd is this. It's the end of March and it's cricket season(the bugs not the game) Cricket Season (the game) is ending but Crickets (the bugs) is still going strong.

I know that the colder the weather gets the louder they sing. If that's true then it's about to freeze here as they have been going like mad for the last 3 1/2 hrs. You would think that if it's about to get cold that they would be saving all their energy to keep warm when the temperature does fall. No such luck. Oh well, there are worse things then noisy crickets I just thought it was funny that it's the end of March and the crickets are out.
