Welcome to the Frat House

I had been here all of 2 hours when I met one of my neighbours. I was in the lounge having lunch and he came in and introduced himself. I was just a 'little' jetlagged so I can't remember what his name is but whatever. So from the first day back I knew there was at least one guy on my floor.

Monday night we had a fire alarm. It was just the regular start of the semester test. Anyway, as floor warden it is my job to run around and knock on everyone's door to tell them to leave. As I was doing this I wondered how many were even on the floor. I asked the dorm mother when I saw her and she said that she didn't have a final head count for the building yet as people are still moving in/changing rooms. So I went to the residence office and asked yesterday. The woman was like yep its a full floor, it's 5 and 1. So you've got some company, she then realized that I was the 1 female. So needless to say it's going to be an interesting semester.

Today a friend and I were talking in the lounge and one of the guys walked by stuck his head in the lounge and commented on how nice it smelt in there. Someone had had a dirty plate sitting on the counter for 4 1/2 days. Housekeeping came in this morning and removed it. Then when my friend and I were there we had the doors & windows open letting some fresh air in. It's amazing what opening the doors and getting rid of the dirty dishes will do isn't it?

Anyway, that's about it for today. Have a good day.
