TV Characters = Interesting Dinner

There use to be a TV show here in the late 60's about Skippy the Bush Kangaroo. It was along the lines of Lassie and Flipper the Dolphin, except it was Skippy the Kangaroo. Anyway, Skippy the Kangaroo makes for an interesting dinner. I finally found out how to cook it... Kinda. It's going to take some more experimenting. I had been told before I had it that kangaroo was like beef. After having it it's more like venison then beef. But they don't have venison here, so the only thing they can compare it to is beef. The only similarity I found was that they're both red meat. Kangaroo is really wild gamie tasting. They are left to roam around the farms and basically fend for themselves unlike cattle. Other then the wild taste it was really good and it's really good for you. So, I'm going to have Skippy for dinner more often I'm just going to have to experiment to get rid of the wild taste. If anyone's got any suggestions from their venison recipes please send them through to me.
