It won't stop coming

Why won't it stop coming? When is enough enough? So far it's 11 inches with no end in sight. I'm running out of room. It just keeps coming and coming. It's so much that I'm starting to worry about where it's all going to go. I know I've been in a dry spell but why does it seem to be all or nothing? WHEN WILL IT STOP COMING??
