Naughty School Kid

Both Wednesday and Thursday at the gym I felt like a naughty school kid being held back after class. Wednesday night during spin I had both instructors keeping an eye on me. The regular one a couple of times during class looked over at me and asked how I was doing. Then when he took over instructing the class the new instructor kept checked in a couple of times. After class the regular instructor asked me to hang back to ask if I was OK cause he knew I wasn't happy.

Less then 12 hrs later I was back at the gym for a weights class, it turned out that the instructor was the new one from spin the night before. The moment I walked into the class at 5:55 am, and some of you know how I can be first thing in the morning, he greeted me by name and commented on how I had been at spin the night before. Anyway, through the class he kept checking in with me after I told him that it was my first class. At the end of the class when we were putting our toys away he asked me to hold up. He wanted to check in and get more info as to how was feeling. He looked really surprised when I commented that spin was easier. Once he learned of my spin history he was less surprised with my response. Anyway, he also commented on my attitude the night before.

Needless to say, I felt very much like the naughty school kid being hauled over the coals for acting up in class. And just like the naughty kid there were the requisite promises to behave better. :) Or at least be in a somewhat better mood.

That being said, at least the instructors are aware enough to pick up on peoples attitudes and act according.
