Canadian Alcohol

We've all heard the common American complaint that Canadian beer is too strong. Last night I was shocked so bad I actually lost my balance and almost fell down. And no it had nothing to do with the fact I was at a bar because at the point it happened I had only had 1 drink. I know I'm a cheap drunk but I'm not that cheap. :P

Anyway, there were a couple of Americans in our group and as I was on my way towards the bar I heard one of the guys say that he preferred Labatt's Blue but they didn't have it here. At which point I turned around in disbelieve that he said that. His buddy then confirmed that he too preferred it. After hearing that I turned around and literally had to sit down I was so shocked. Once I had recovered and the conversation continued it turns out his buddy loves Crown Royal and is sad that we can't find it here.

People say that you should always try to learn something new everyday. Yesterday's new insight was that there are actually Americans who not only like but prefer Canadian alcohol. The boys learned that they can call it just Blue and do not have to specify that it's Labatt's Blue.
