Friendly Aussies

Yeah I know three posts in one day and that is with no computer of my own. The only thing I can say is that sleep is overrated, especially when you have three weeks left to the semester.
Anyway, I want to talk about the friendly Aussie Firemen. My dorm had yet another fire alarm today, the third one since Monday. We haven't had any all semester. It's almost like being back at Johnston on Aggie Pub night and all the alarms. At least these ones are the middle of the day and not 3 am. But I digress.

I was on my way back after class and wasn't allowed in cause they were investing the alarm. Which is completely understandable. I was bored so I started to do some investigating of my own. And found where the fire trucks were parked. It was were all the firemen were milling around and where the flashing lights were coming from. See eye's smrt I mean smart (sorry Simpson's moment there) Anyway, I happened to have my camera with me. Since coming here I hardly step outside without it. One of the firemen saw me digging in my bag near the trucks and came over to investigate. When he found out my dad and brother were firemen and that I wanted pictures to show them. He let me climb up in the truck to check it out. It looked like the ones back in Canada except they were reversed as people drive on the left side here. If I can figure out how to post pictures on this site I'll include them. If not I'll send them back to Canada. Being a fireman's daughter gets you into places that others can't. Thanks Dad.
