Shopping

Finally the price of fruit is reasonable. Almost. I went to the grocery store yesterday. Apples were 4.00 a kilo, They were about 9 a kilo when I first got here. Grapes, oranges, strawberries, plums( are new we didn't have them until last week) The only ones which are still astronomical are cherries which are $17 a kilo. For those of you having troubles with the math divide the kilo price by 2.2 to get the price per pound.

I also bought a new book over the weekend. It is a collection of short stories by women authors. It's a cross between Chicken Soup and Sex and the City. I have been really good. I only read one story a day. If I get all my reading done for the day I'm get to reward myself with 3 stories. This has yet to happen though. Oh well, there is always the weekend to get caught up on everything then I can read. The book is the first of a series of four. While I wanted to get all four at the bookstore Saturday I didn't I only got one.

Although I'm thinking I will go back and get the rest cause I am going to need something to read when I go to China and Thailand. I was talking to a girl the other day, she is from China. Depending on where I fly into it is a 10-12 hour flight. However, 6 of that is to get across Australia.

I still haven't decided where I'm going in April. I'm waiting for another couple of weeks until the exam schedule is posted. Once I know exam times I'll be able to better plan my vacation.

That's about all that's new from this side of the globe. Hope you guys are staying warm.
