Where's Sarah
My Monday night seminar leader wants to know what happened to me and where did the 'old' Sarah go. Last week I wouldn't shut up and this week was pretty much the same. We had to divide up into two groups and the scenario we were given was highly prejudicial against the defendant(my side) and had to work out a deal in 'court'. What could have cost us in excess of 40 million only cost us 1.3. The best part was that whenever I finished talking the 'judge' said Enough I don't need to hear anymore, you don't have to pay and what is the plaintiff's next argument. I was the only person he did this too.
As this is the halfway point of the semester, he wanted everyone to come in this week for a consultation to see how we thought we were doing compared to how he thought we were doing. I had mine today which was where he asked me what happened and where had the old Sarah who never said anything in class went to. He then went on to say that I have increased my participation mark 60% the last 3 weeks. I just have to talk more. It's kind of hard in that class cause we have a couple of people who have to talk to hear their voices. I'd much rather sit back and observe then when appropriate dazzle them with my brilliance. H didn't buy that but he did admit that it was a good try.
I was a little concerned that after last week he was ready to bring the duct tape out. I guess not.
