I'm Losing It

I was in Sydney for the last couple of days and much to my surprise I have learned that I am losing it. I thought I never would especially after moving here I thought I would have it forever. But I don't. YYYYYEEEEHHH!!

For clarification I am losing the Americanization of my accent. I was at a law firm information day in Sydney on Friday and had a number of people comment on my 'Canadian' accent. The majority of the people were able to pick up it immediately. Although there was one guy who after ensuring that I was Canadian admitted that he was a little unsure about it and thought that he had better not stuff it up, by thinking the Canadian was an American.

So it is now official I am losing the American cross-contamination I was infected with. :-D
