How Pathetic..
How bad is this. I had to be double dog dared to go to the movies.
But I'm glad I went. I was able to get in for like half price. I was wearing my hat from dad's fire dept. When I got to the ticket counter the guy asked if I was a fireman. I said that dad and my brother were back in Canada. The guy then said that his brother-in-law was a fireman in Western Australia. He then said that my ticket was 7.40. (regular price is 14 and student discount if 10.80) I'm not sure what kind of discount I got but I don't care. I got a deal and that's all that matters. I'll have to remember to wear it the next time I go and hope that that same guy is working.
By the way the movie was really good. I went and saw Brokeback Mountain. It didn't end the way I was hoping it would but then that's life, you don't always get the ending you want, you just have to try and make the best of it. Enough of the sermon. It was a good movie. If you haven't seen it you should. I know that there are some people who are concerned about the whole gay cowboy issue. Once you get into the movie you forget that they're gay it's a story about trying to get on with your life while not being able to be with the person you love.
Just for clarification it was the fact that I had to be double dog dared to go to the movies not that the movie was pathetic. For those of you who can't remember double dog dare from childhood. It is the ultimate in dares. You could back down from a regular dare but there was no getting out of a double dog dare. You had to do it no matter what.
