What a bunch of girls
I am thoroughly disgusted with myself and the other girls in my Tuesday seminar. We are such a bunch of stereotypical girly girls. The seminar group is made up of 9 girls 1 guy and the seminar lead (Male). Today 6 of the girls were there, as well as the one guy. Before class started one of the girls noticed that there was something on the guy's neck. On her way over to see what it was the thing MOVED. The guys felt it move and reflexively knocked it away. The seminar leader walked in at this point and saw the thing. He was like oh how cute it's a green jumping spider. Note: It was a HUGE GREEN JUMPING SPIDER! It was like an inch and a half long. That's big for a spider!! After that he tried to start the class. We were more concerned with this jumping spiders whereabouts. Joel (instructor) tried to make and joke by saying does anyone have their feet on the ground. No (all of the girls were in skirts and thongs(shoes not underwear)) there was no way we were going to have our feet on the ground when there was a huge spider around. (I know it was a jumping one don't give me a hard time) When called on the fact that he didn't have his feet on the ground (he always perches on the back of the chair with his feet on the seat) he allowed us to sit on the table and keep an eye out for the jumping spider. He also realized that we weren't going to be able to absorb much so he whipped through the seminar (it was a brief one to begin with) and let us go early.
Like I said earlier what a bunch of girlygirls. I can't believe I bought into it. Oh well, I guess everyone has there weak moments. For the record though I WILL NOT be wearing any more skirts to that class just to be safe.
