Success!!

I am now a lawyer. Well, unofficially. The other day I was at the gym and was accused of making my trainer ill. Immediately I went into lawyer mode by asking where and what was the proof. It was all circumstantial. I had been seen talking to him a couple of days earlier. Big deal, I always talk to my trainer, and whoever else I see when I'm at the gym. So I launched into a 5 minute lecture about how circumstantial evidence doesn't hold up in a criminal proceeding with the exception of sentencing. Needless to say, I think the woman who made the accusation will think before she speaks from now on. Or at least before tries to make accusations against me.

Sometimes it's good to be a lawyer.
