Dried Out ?!?

Hopefully. Maybe. I think so. Yesterday I was out for a walk and got caught in the rain. Within about 3 minutes I was soaked through and my sneakers had half an inch of water in them. I was about 20 minutes from home when it happened. It was raining so hard that I seriously thought the rain was hail.Just my luck the route I took had no restaurants or shops along it so I was stuck in the rain. I was wetter then the proverbial drowned rat. By the time I had gotten home it had stopped raining of course. But I was still sopping wet. My housemates were out and there was no way I was going to come in that wet. Then I remembered thankfully I had put my laundry outside (we have an outdoor laundry room) and there was a towel in there. Thankfully the backyard is fenced in or more then just a couple of birds would have had something to look at.

Today the sun is out and it's about 80F and I just checked my clothes and they are finally dried. Sneakers are still a little damp but they too will dry out.

Yesterday proved that I am not Gene Kelly and that I do not sing in the rain.
