March 2006 - Nov 22 2008 RIP

Your life was all to short. You were supportive to me and I tried my best to take care of you the best I could for as long as I could. However, we both knew you would not last forever. Thank you for protecting me from the harshest conditions that were thrown as us. I don't know if I'll ever be able to replace you, but know that if I do you were my first and as such will always hold a place of found remembrance.

Now that I've got you confused, I'd better explain.

My padded bike shorts for spin class died today. I knew they've been slowly deteriorating the last 6 months and thought I still had some time but no such luck. This morning at the gym the padded crotch fell out. There's no way to repair them as they are so tread bare that stitches will not hold. Now the search begins for a new pair. Wish me luck as the one sports store where I got these no longer carry them. It looks like I'm going to have to go to one of the cycling specialty stores and hope they aren't too expensive there.
