Back to Normal

Well, I think I've finally recuperated from Sunday. Yesterday (Wednesday) I was able to wear a bra for the first time since the race. I discovered Sunday that under wire bras, running and big boobs = painful broken blisters. But the blisters have healed over so now I can get back to work.

I also realised that I've become a HUGE attention seeker this week. Everyone I knew and felt comfortable around got to see my blisters. Although they asked for it cause they asked how the run went and so I showed them. The best time was when I was in the bra store taking to the sales clerk and trying to find a 'non - hurtie' sports bra. A friend suggested this store on Tuesday, a couple of days late but anyway, back to my story.

I went into the story and told the clerk that her store was suggested to me as a place for non hurtie big sports bras. So, her and I are wandering around the store, I'm in my jeans and one of their sports bras while looking for other potential styles to try on. And of course who should walk by as we are at the front of the store but some old guy who was at least 75+. Needless to say I was surprised that the poor guy didn't have immediate heart failure. Although he was able to look away long enough to find look up to find the store name. Probably to make sure that he can come back when he needs another thrill.

That's about all. I'll post pictures from the race here when I get a few more minutes.
