10 Months of Improvements
When comparing my first & second 10 km runs there are a couple of significant differences. The main one being I was 25 minutes faster. The other is that I'm almost 20 kilos lighter. Not bad for 10 months. On Sunday everyone at running group who learned of my improvement since the last time were ecstatic.
I did the math and it basically works out that for every kilo I way it takes a minute to move a km. So hopefully that means once I get down to my goal weight I should be right around the hr mark. Which is the ultimate goal. I want to break the 60 min mark for 10 kms. There's two more 10km's next month locally and one a little further north in a couple of weeks. So there's still lots of opportunities for improvements.
