International Appeal of Timmy's

The other day I was in the change room at the gym telling one of the girls about Timmy's and how when she's in Canada next week that she has to check them out. As we were having this conversation another woman came out of the private change rooms and jumped in trying to help me explain the concept of how you walk up give them your toonie and get your cup of coffee. That concept is completely foreign to the Aussies here. The three of us then got talking and the 2nd Aussie woman said that she completely understands my feelings about Timmy's as when her and her husband were in Canada last year they saw discovered the magic of Timmy's.

I knew that the Canadians were starting to educate the Americans and the Irish as Timmy's has stores in both these countries. Here's hoping that if enough Aussies learn the importance of Timmy's that they'll come here too. Keep your fingers crossed. :)
