What is Acceptable?

Isn't it funny that what is considered acceptable is dependent upon the situation?

Shouldn't some behaviours be either acceptable or unacceptable regardless of their context?

We allow our friends to do and day things which coming from someone who isn't a friend wouldn't be able to get away with.

The other day a friend to make a comment which the week before someone who I did not know as well made a similar comment and it looks like now he (the first guy) is going to be terminated. I got pissed off to the point of reporting the first guy to his boss while the second guy who made the comment got a laugh from me.

Context and relationships are everything.
